Reaching Goals!

This beautiful lady is an adult beginner, and she's been with me since summer of 2025. She sings at her church, so her goals are to learn to read music and play her favorite Christian artists.

Are you wondering what to expect in lessons as an adult beginner? I will tailor the lessons to YOU. We will use a method book to start, but we will go beyond the books, as well, pulling in songs from my library or searching the Internet for what you want to learn. Sometimes I even arrange a piece just for you! I love to challenge my adult students with more music theory than what the beginning books provide, so your knowledge grows while your hands are catching on. I'll show you how chords and patterns work, so note reading isn't too tedious. If a song seems hard, we'll break it down into bite sized chunks. Expect a lot of encouragement and affirmation!
